Hoverbiking is proven to make you 27% cooler

I still plan on colouring this, but I slapped some flat colours on there so that I’d have something to post at least. I’m trying not to slip back into a lull of non-updates.

Anyway, here she is, Borderlands-esque biker chick here to kick ass and ride hover-motor-cycle-things. What more could you want out of life?

ENGAGE ART FANBOY MODE

I’m not sure how obvious it is (because it naturally seems like the most blatantly obvious thing in the world to me, but I dunno how everyone else sees it) but this, and pretty much everything I draw, is heavily inspired by Tyson Hesse I love how solid his work feels. It’s like before he sits down to draw he first sculpts whatever is in his head and then just uses that as a reference. It’s amazing. If you don’t know him, check out his work and his comic Boxer Hockey (And Diesel too!).

Even though it was originally inspired by Borderlands, I guess this is kind of a little tribute to Mr. Hesse.

(I even pinched the temporary colour scheme for this from one of his recent posters, because I’m a wuss and colour scares me. I will change that when I come round to colouring it =/)
